I had the pleasure to help out my client with three colourful murals. The task was to transform the sterile atmosphere in two common areas to make feel young people comfortable there. The rooms belong to a new built student apartment house in Berlin and will provide over 200 people a temporary home. The design shouldn't be too bold and distracting since the students are also working in these rooms and need to focus. Together with the client I decided for a simple botanical motif combined with abstract shapes in light colour tones. It perfectly fits into the building because the facades will have climbing plants later. Also the neighborhood is full of huge apartment blocks which makes nature a little lacking. I'm sure everyone will feel home there!
